g Diapers - The best
of cloth and disposable in an
earth-friendly
diaper.
gDiapers consist of a
washable, cotton outer “little
g” pant and a plastic-free
flushable diaper refill. They
are made of breathable
material just like sports
clothing. So, babies stay dry
and happy and are far less
likely to get diaper rash.
Inserts - Flush,
compost or toss.
Can't flush? It's ok to toss
the flushable diaper refills
because they're plastic-free.
Or garden compost the wet
ones. They'll break down in
50-150 days!
A totally new way to think
about diapers.
Once you get the hang of it,
the whole process will seem
as normal as recycling your
newspaper.
In the beginning, you may
have an icky encounter until
you get into the groove of
using gDiapers.
You can also compost the wet
ones or simply toss the soiled
refill. It will break down in the
landfill in about 90 days vs.
up to 500 years for a
disposable. Ah, the beauty of
plastic-free diapers.
Get the
perfect fit and a snug little
bum!

Babies come in all shapes and
sizes. So, it may take a few
tries to find the perfect fit for
your baby.
- Close velcro tabs at the
back away from little hands.
- gDiapers fit up snug
between baby's legs. The liner
rests in the crease of your
baby's leg. Just like
underwear.
- gDiapers, like all diapers
need to be changed every 2-4
hours for a dry, happy baby.
- The soft elastic waistband
fits around your baby's waist.
This means it is higher in the
back and dips down below the
belly in the front. The fit
should be snug but not tight.
- When closing the tabs, make
sure the back of the tab is
sitting straight along the
waist, and not angling down.
- The soft trim on the snap-in
liner makes the seal. Be sure
it is hugging your baby's
legs.
- Mild red marks or gentle
indentations in your baby's
skin are generally not
harmful. It's the same as
when you get sheet marks on
your body from sleeping.
However, red rubbing or skin
irritation is not OK.
What are they made of?
‘little g’ pants:
The outer fabric of the ‘little g’
pant is made of 92% cotton
and 8% spandex. The fabric
both stretches and breathes.
Snap-in Liner: The
snap-in liner is made of
polyurethane coated polyester
that is permeable to water
vapor, but waterproof to
liquid. It is the breathability of
the fabric that helps prevent
diaper rash and over-heating.
Inserts:The outer
material of flushables is
viscose rayon, a natural
polymer that comes from
trees. It is the only polymer
used in the textile industry
that comes from a natural,
renewable and non-fossil fuel
source. It is both compostable
and flushable. The contents
of the flushable are made of
soft, fluffed wood pulp and
super absorber (SAP). Like
the outer material, the inside
of the flushable comes from
sustainably managed forests
using an elemental-chlorine-
free (ECF) process. |
