Peekaboo Bottoms exists today because I had such a hard time finding cloth diapers and environmentally friendly baby items the Niagara Region! So in a weird way, I guess it was kind of a good thing! It just seemed like there was no one available to ask questions to, to explain what a prefold diaper was and how to fold it, or tell me how I was going to wash the things! I started doing a TON of research online and now I want to share that research and inform other mom's and dad's in the Niagara Region the benefits of cloth diapering their babies!

My journey began back in September 2007, with an online based store only. Starting at first with only cloth diapers, I slowly began to expand my store to include a lot more! I am proud to be the first store to open in Niagara! In September 2008, we expanded... this time to a small storefront! Our first location was an 850sq ft store, with 400 sq ft to display products. For us it was perfect, it finally gave other parents the opportunity to come in and see products AND ask questions in person! In April 2010, we expanded yet again! This time to our current location - 2000 sq ft, with 1000 sq ft to display products AND a 320 sq sq classroom to offer moms a larger variety of mom and baby classes. This expansion allowed us to add other large items to our retail store - including strollers, highchairs, cribs and bedding.

We carry over 10 brands of cloth diapers including Happy Heiny, FuzziBunz, Thirsties, bumGenius, Imse Vimse, Blueberry, Swaddlebee's, Bummis, EasyFit, Weehuggers, BabyKangas, Chinese Prefolds and AppleCheeks. We carry diaper accessories such as Snappi, Eucalan Wool Wash, Lanolin, assorted drawstring and zippered wetbags, pail liners, cloth wipes and more! We also sell a wide selection of baby carriers - Moby Wraps, Maya Wrap Ring Slings, Beco Baby Carriers, BabyHawks, etc. We sell diaper bags, nursing tops, breast pumps, organic baby clothing & shoes, wooden play toys, bath toys, feeding items, the list is endless. It's worth a drive to our NEW store to see all that is available! Over 90% of the items we carry are not found anywhere else in the Niagara Region!

A little bit about me - I have been married to my husband, Rich, for almost 5 years. We have 2 boys, one born July 2006 and the other December 2007! We are a very busy household! However, if it wasn't for my boys, this store may not be in existence! My husband and I have both lived in the Niagara Region our entire lives and look forward to continuing to raise our children here.
