ORDERS, PRICING & TAXES
Proudly a Canadian Website! All prices are in Canadian dollars. Ontario residents are subject to 5% GST and 8% PST (where applicable). Orders within Canada and outside of Ontario are subject to GST or HST only. American and International orders are tax exempt as long as shipping is to the US or Overseas.
Orders can be placed online, or by phone. Phone orders are accepted Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm. Please call 905-734-4546.
Payment: Orders online can be paid using PayPal (any form - funded, credit card, echeck, etc.) or credit card (Mastercard and Visa only). Purchases instore can be paid for with cash, debit, VISA or Mastercard. Phone orders can only be paid for with a card card (Mastercard or Visa).
If you place an order for instore pickup, we kindly ask that you pick your order up within 2 weeks from the day you place your order.
SPECIAL ORDERS
All special orders must be paid for in full prior to ordering. If the time is a specialty item and is a non-stock item for us, it is non-refundable and can not be returned. Otherwise, all other special orders fall under are regular return policy, see below.
RETURN POLICY
There are no cash refunds. Exchange or credit only. Items must be returned in their original, unopened package to be accepted. Returns must be accompanied by the original receipt and be within 14 days of the date of purchase. If returning a purchase online the customer will pay to ship the return to Peekaboo Bottoms. All swim diapers, cloth diapers and feminine products are Final Sale and can not be exchanged. All SPECIAL ORDERS are final sale!!! Additionally, all items purchased through our clearance section are final sale!
Please make sure that you contact us prior to shipping back any returns or exchanges. We recommend you insure your return package as we are not liable for any packages that are lost in the mail.
If items were shipped in error they will be replaced and corrected at my expense. I will pay the shipping for you to have the item shipped back to me and pay for the shipping of the correct item to be sent to you. If an item is missing, we will send out your item in a new package at no additional cost to you.
CANCELING AN ORDER - If you choose to cancel an order prior to shipping there will be a 10% restocking fee charged (on the items, not shipping). Our items are gathered and packaged very quickly. The 10% restocking fee covers our lost fees from having to toss away labels and packaging that we have already used towards your order and no need to be discarded. WE STAND BY THIS 100%.
I pride myself on being able to help you determine the best products for you and your children. Please ask questions regarding sizing, materials, etc. before you purchase to make sure you are buying the right item! You will be happier and satisfied knowing that you are receiving items that are appropriate. When trying out a new product for the first time I recommend you only buy ONE of something to try it out to make sure it works for you and your baby.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you obtain an item that has a manufacturer's defect or the item becomes defective with use, I will assist you to replace or repair the item immediately. However, in some cases I may need to put you directly in contact with the manufacturer (as this is their policy, not mine). All items shipped for defective reasons are at the expense of the customer.
Woolly Bottoms Items - You have 30 days from your date of purchase if there is a defect or workmanship problem with your item. Please visit Woolly Bottoms to review the warranty policy and contact information.
GENTLY USED DIAPER PURCHASES
If you purchase a gently used cloth diaper please be advised that all items are final sale and can not be returned. 95% of the used diapers we sale are from returns on the Canada Wide Test Drive. There diapers have generally been used for 2 weeks or less and are in great condition.
SHIPPING
Choose from one of the following options:
- In Store Pickup
- Free Shipping: within Canada, on all orders over $99 before taxes! Some exceptions apply. Please see below.
- Ontario Shipping: Shipping from Ontario within Ontario for $8.49
- Canadian Shipping: Shipping from Ontario to anywhere in Canada (except Ontario) for $12.95
- Small Package Shipping (for all of Canada): For small, light packages less than 2cm in thickness for $3.99
- USA Shipping: Shipping from Canada to the USA is dependent on the size and weight of your package. We will email you with choices for shipping prior to the package being sent.
- International Shipping: Shipping charges will be applied to your credit card (if applicable) as soon as packages are mailed. If you wish to INQUIRE about a price, please do so through email, once you place your order, your items will be packaged and shipped as soon as possible. Quotes are only provided when requested.
Free Shipping Exceptions: Packages that weigh more than 3 kilograms, and packages that are larger than 24"x24"x24" are not eligible for free shipping. Our regular shipping charges (or more) will apply. Additionally, our "Canada Wide Test Drive Program" is not eligible for free shipping.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES: Heavier packages or larger orders MAY be subjected to additional ships costs. If you have paid by credit card will will inform you of the extra shipping costs and will charge your credit card accordingly. If you have paid via paypal, we will send through a money request. Packages will not be shipped until all shipping costs have been paid. Packages will not ship until all echecks have cleared.
All Packages are sent via Canada Post. Canadian packages will include up to a maximum of $100.00 of insurance and a tracking number. Small Light Packages ($3.99) are traveling lettermail and do not include any insurance or tracking number. If your item ships lettermail and your package goes missing in the mail there is NO INSURANCE or CLAIM possible! If you choose a small light package but your items are too large additional shipping will be charges (up to $8.49 or $12.95 depending on your location.
For large orders totally more than $100.00, we highly recommend that you purchase additional insurance in case your package is lost, damaged or stolen. Peekaboo Bottoms does not assume liability after packages have been dropped off at the Post Office and we give you your tracking number.
All packages that are shipping out from Ontario will ship within 1-4 business days. An email confirmation will be sent when your package has been dropped in the mail.
Customs and Duties: International customers are responsible for any and all additional taxes and/or duties charged by customs.
NO WASTE
You will notice that the majority of items sold through Peekaboo Bottoms have very little or no packaging. We will continue to work with our suppliers to ensure there is less waste going into our landfills. Additionally, in effort to continue being green and kinder to the planet, I will no longer be including invoices with packages. When you place your order through the cart (online store) an invoice is generated and sent to you via email. This is your invoice. I will also use recycled packaging to mail out packages whenever possible.
When shopping at our storefront, I will only be providing bags when necessary. If you feel you do not need a shopping bag or your are able to bring your own it would be much appreciated! Future plans for our store include having our own fabric cloth bags for resale for our customers.
PRIVACY POLICY
Any information provided to Peekaboo Bottoms through our estore OR in our storefront is kept completely confidential. We do not give out any personal information (name/address/emails) to anyone, EVER. The purpose of gathering information is to mail out packages and obtain email addresses for our newsletter to those who are interested. |
